BD Ripper (3D Plus) v8.1.1.6 Shuts Down after reading BD

I was looking at this version to see if the CUDA auto sync issue was fixed. I'm trying to rip The Fifth Element. With both CUDA set on and CUDA off, the BD gets read and the program shuts down. I'll hold off on reverting back to the last production release in case you want me to try anything. I'll also try another BD and report back.

Don't know if it will help you, but I had a similar symptom and fixed Fab from shutting down by running it as Administrator. If you have a shortcut on your desktop, go into properties and then the Compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator."

I don't do BR disks but mine was doing the same thing on SD DVDs. It would scan the disk and then just disappear. I discovered that in common settings, subpicture if the "Do not preselect any subpicture" box was ticked it would do it every time. I selected unticked the box and now it works fine. Attached:
