BD Ripper (3D Plus) Latest beta build will not initialize

The latest build when using default decoders the app would not even initialize and when all the decoders are set to software the conversion jumps up to almost 2.5x longer on my hp laptop than on my desktop and both machines are similar in all aspects except the graphics cards.

    Hi dglidden,
Please Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, select "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" restart Fab and try again.
    Wish it helps

No it didn't help at all, in fact nothing changed. My encoded frame rate dropped to 3.6 with the task time climbing up to over 11 hours. This I would expect on my old dual core computer not on my I7 quad core laptop.

you got me all confused. Please define
the app would not even initialize
If application do not initialize, how you can change settings. If you can open application, access settings, change settings, etc. what do you mean by "not initialize" than?

The app initializes but the conversion process does not at the default settings. And when I change the settings it does initialize but the conversion process takes more than twice as long as it should on the machine with the power that my laptop does. If you look at the logs I posted in my initial tread you could probably see the information about my laptop.
