DVD Ripper DVD Ripper crashes on startup

When I try and start DVDFab it crashes back to the desktop with no error messages.

If I look in the event viewer I get the following event.

I've tried "upgrading" to 8.1.2.9 beta but I get the following event

Also I've uninstalled and tried a clean install but with no luck.

Anybody else had this problem? Any ideas how to solve?

This only happens when dvdfab is listed in the Virtu Control panel. But as I want to use QuickSync it should be listed.

Please can I have a fix.

Hi stuffy65,
Your PC may be infected virus. Please unstall DVDFab clearly and then use antivirus software for a full disc searching and killing. Then install DVDFab again.

Uninstalled DVDFAB. Ran a full scan with Kaspersky 2012 latest databases, no viruses found. Run a run scan with Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware, no malware found.

Tried to install DVDFab 3.1.3 .0 but comes up the The program can't start because qtopengl4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. (Which doesn't work).

IT now loads but crashes with the following event log when dvdfab is included in the virtu control panel.
