BD Ripper (3D Plus) Mp4 & m4v

I have a curious problem with the DVD and BluRay ripper applications.

When i rip using the MP4 format, i have a "jumpy" playback of the file. When i use the M4V format, it does not jump on playback at all.
The jumpiness isnt very bad, but just bad enough to notice.

Its as if the MP4 version is missing every 2nd or 3rd frame...

What am i doing wrong?

In addition, i can't find a M4V 5.1 copy setting and would dearly love to have that...

The default location is:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

Try with the settings on software.

Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

Also please do not convert from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 "Movie Only" without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use the folder on your HDD to do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

Sorry for ignorance - i have been doing a direct rip from the BD drive since i started.

You should be able to use it as trial.
And after 30 days you will no longer be able to compress or burn and newer movies will have about 90 days until they are supported.

further information

it would appear that if i play the mp4 and m4v files in the quicktime software i see the real differences

mp4 is really jumpy, with what appears to be duplication of frames, it jumping every frame.

m4v is fine.

any more thoughts?

Btw. I tried to rip without CUDA and got a 501 error. I didnt bother to investigate, just switched CUDA back on and re did it. Worked ok ripping. Same jumpy issue though.

Have you tried the latest version found here DVDFab 8.1.3.3 Qt Beta to see if you still have the jumping?
