I have been using DVDFab for copying my DVD and Blu-ray movies for quite a while now. Unfortunately, after upgrading to version 8.1.3.2 (31/10/2011), I am having problems. When I am copying a Blu-ray, it fails partway though the second pass. When I try playing the movie in the preview screen, it is choppy and jumps around a few seconds. Other movies just show the first minute and then loops back to the beginning. But when I play the same movies though PowerDVD, it plays back with no issues. Therefore, I don't think it is the blu-rays itself. I am leaning towards that something must have corrupted DVDFab when I did the upgrade. I tried to uninstall DVDFab and reinstalling it, but I get the same results. Does anyone have any solutions?

Try one-pass as Encoding Method as not seriourly difference between 1 pass and 2.
For the preview issue, please go to Common Settings page, General->Preview, check the Decoder and try Internal. -
I'll try the 1-pass method. As for the preview, I tried the internal preview method but it made the preview worse. I have a feeling something must have corrupted the decoder software.
I am leaning towards removing DVDFab again and redoing a clean install. Unfortunately, I think I have to use a program like ccleaner before reinstalling DVDFab. Obviously, just doing an uninstall and reinstall is not fixing the problem.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue? How did they solve this and what are the steps?Comment

I have tried the 2-pass conversion and it failed during the second pass. Then I tried the 1-pass coversion and it also failed. I checked the Blu-ray disc and it is clean and has no scratches. It also plays with no glitches in PowerDVD.

First save it to your HDD without compression.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.
Second use BD ripper to mkv.remux.Comment
