I just downloaded the most current version of dvd fab, version 8.1.3.8. This is the error code i'm getting every time. I'm trying to rip a blu ray copy of Dracula and convert it to an Ipad 1080p file and this is what I get................

You are going to try "Blu-ray Ripper" option.: 14:26:03
    Conversion: one pass: 14:26:03
CUDA GPU acceleration for video encoding enabled
    : 14:26:03
    Source( 00011.m2ts )
    : 14:26:03
    Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(native_mux), type(128), id(11), get module_error(502.14 12)

    : 14:26:07
    Process failed!: 14:26:08

Please help, this is quite aggravating, haha.

    Hi the_fan
Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

Please do not convert from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 "Main Movie" without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use the folder on your HDD to do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

EDIT Your answer isYes,I have edited my post, just realized I was in the wrong forum

You would use BD Copy to save it to your HDD

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Also please do not compress from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use "Main Movie" mode select BD25 to compress to another folder on your hard drive.
Use the "Write Data" mode of Fab to open this COMPRESSED folder and burn to a disk.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

Ok, I'll try your suggestions when I get home tonight. Now I'm a little bit of a noob with this program, so how do I go about saving the blu ray to my HDD first then Do the other stuff you mentioned? And should I do the same before I convert to an iPad or any other file and not just when writing to a disc?

Convert from the HD will be faster and less bad issue. So the advice is welcome.
