DVD Ripper Error 500.01 0

Hi, all of a sudden my dvd ripping breaks after the first pass when ripping from DVD source to .avi - to passes. I've been ripping hundreds of titles without any problems what so ever and now no dvd will go to second pass but rather fail. I've restarted both the program and computer several times.

Any advise?

I have always done all my conversions in 1 pass.
You will never notice a difference between 1&2 pass.

Hi and thank you. I realize that this has to do with 1 pass vs 2 pass. Like you say it works great with 1 pass. However I don't fully agree with you with regards to quality eventhough I can push up the bps a bit doing 1 pass I still find in some cases that 2 pass ripping produces better quality.

But my main question is why this happened all of a sudden? And what "dependencies" comes with doing a 2 pass rip (GPU dependency?, Cuda vs sofware?, PhysX? and so on). And what I need to do to make the 2 pass rip work again?

This to gain more knowledge of the product and to keep ripping with the profiles I've been using that create (to me) the best result.
