DVD Ripper Error 502.12 7

Problem with DVD Ripper. Error 502.12 7 occurs approx 5 seconds into rip. BluRay ripper works very well.
I've searched for this error in the forums. Seems the only correction is "try the latest beta version". I'm running the latest 8.1.5.3.
Logs below my configuration. Anyone have an idea for correcting?
