BD Ripper (3D Plus) Can not get DVD Bluray Ripper to work

I have tried everything disable all GPU CODECS , tried different bitrates an nothing works. Pcressing goes to .59% timer goes to zero and there are no more reads. It looks like the Bluray is read once produces 30 seconds of output and the freezes.

    Any Suggestions.

    Hi kagdimsum
Please try the latest version found here http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=16223

Please do not convert from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 "Main Movie" without compression.
If doing DVDs save it to HDD as "Main Movie" DVD9 without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use the folder on your HDD to do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

If still having problems post the logs from the latest version.

      BD Ripper

Thanks I will try this solution today. It sounds like BD ripper directly to iPad really does not work.

Thanks I will try this workaround todauy. It sounds like I can not go directly to iPad version from BD drive. I have been trying the BD ripper for months with noi success.

        Thanks

I give up. I tried to save to hard drive "without compression" did not see that option for "without compression" so I proceeded saved to hard drive. This completed succesfully. Then when i tried tro convert the file to iPad. I did not purchase the convert software so of course this is the trial version, it failed with a write error. I do not want to purchase another converter to create a work around for the BD ripper I purchased that does not work. Any suggestions?

            Hi kagdimsum
Please post your logs from the latest version, make sure that Cuda is disabled.

Try using DVD Copy for your DVDs or BD Copy for your Blu-rays following the instructions I had given you earlier to copy to HDD.

DVD Ripper works find. I can accept it if BD Ripper does not work. Copying to HDD is not a solution for me. I just want the BD Ripper to perform as advertised. Sorry but I have been trying for months just to get BD Ripper to work.

              Thanks
