Try setting to software only in DVDfab and see if that resolves the issue. I've seen a little of this with CUDA turned on and it went away when I went software only. It's slower but the jerkyness went away. I've only seen it on some DVDs but never when I've been software only ripping DVDs.

Hi wolfie7873
Do you also have the option to use DVD Copy???
With these older movies you still can use the Free HD Decrypter for DVD Copy
if you did not purchased DVD Copy.
First save it to your HDD as DVD9 "Main Movie" using DVD Copy without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use the folder on your HDD to do your converting.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.
Give it a try and post back

jbinkley60, I'm not sure exactly what your saying, but my guess is that you mean to turn off hardware acceleration? I'm not sure I've even stumbled across the "CUDA" option you speak of.
CBR929 - I'll have to check if my DVDCopy trial is still valid (it's likely not), but I'm guessing that any way that I can create a DVD Folder on the HDD will then be usable by DVDRipper for conversion.
It may be tomorrow before I try this. I have a race in the morning.

Hi wolfie7873
Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.
