BD Ripper (3D Plus) DTS-MA audio only

I have not been able to get a definitive answer from the existing threads. How does one rip the necessary files from a blu-ray to get an audio file that when played, becomes the single dts-ma track. I wanted to get the audio only from the rush moving pictures audio only blu-ray and each time I rip, I only seem to get the core dts not all of the streams necessary to produce the dts-ma track. Any dumbed-down assistance would be appreciated.

Please select Audio option in BD Ripper, and select profile "audio.copy".

    Hope this help you!

That is what I have done, but the resultant file is only the dts core not the necessary files to create the dts-ma stream

If none of the existing profiles works for you or a custom one u can create as i think u can but have not tried, then u will have to resort to manually demuxing the dts MA/Core stream from the m2ts file using another free tool until this feature gets added into the base product. However only a few players can play the actual raw stream. The output should be a .dts file and mediainfo will show it as being MA/Core.

            Hi, mlknez

I've tried with DTS-HD Master 5.1/7.1, I got a DTS file after ripper to Audio.copy done.
It's the "Format profile : MA / Core" in Mediainfo output as curt said, please check the audio info of source by Mediainfo.

Hi mlknez dont use this profile myself but have a look at the common settings [green tick at the top of the main page] and go to bluray ripper convert - audio output and switch this to ''specified in profile '' The other setting may be the default ? Worth a try anyway

If you have a look under bd copy [a bit higher on the page ]theres a switchbox to downrez hd audio to lossy [to make a smaller file size]- though that is not the app your using and the default should be unticked anyway .Its just like the audiocopy profile tickbox you leave blank for obvious reasons with using bd ripper with your audio only bd .
