Been trying to store my Blu-Ray discs on my 2TB HDD so I can stream them wherever and it has been hit or miss with the process. For the most part the rip will complete (sometimes taking overnight) but it finishes.
But I have noticed a couple titles will not play once ripped. They will show up in the file explorer on my computer, even display a file type/size and run time. But when I "open with" Windows Media Player, it just sits with a black screen. The clock counts up and will continue to do so with no sound or video. But once I try to click the slider bar forward and jump ahead, the clock freezes and nothing happens after that.
Strange thing is VLC Media Player has no issue running the video. But the problem with that is my XBOX 360 is based around Windows Media Player, so its a no-go. This has only happened with a few titles (roughly 1/3 of the rips). Any suggestions?
