    Updated DVDFab to 8.1.8.5 - still happens
    Uninstalled and installed to 8.1.8.7 - still happens

    Anybody any ideas

    The first and safest thing I would do is run Ccleaner on the registry until it finds no errors. Just to make sure it is not putting Fab in a used memory address. Ccleaner is a free download and pretty easy to use, no need to backup the registry every time you fix the errors.

      I've run CCleaner a couple of times and there is no registry issues.

      And still getting exception code 5 on startup.

        Then I would then uninstall Fab, rerun Ccleaner until no errors are found and reinstall from a fresh download.

          Done that but still same error (now installed the official version not the beta)

            I was hoping for the easy fix, probably a driver issue and harder to find. You can try starting the computer in safe mode and see if it starts properly.
