BD Ripper (3D Plus) Repeated MKV remux ripping errors

I've been experiencing repeated errors when attempting to use the blu-ray ripper using the mkv remux delivered profile. A similar error happens when trying mp4 but the info below is specific to the mkv remux profile.

DVDfab had been working for my very well in the past. I've backed up several hundred discs in my blu-ray collection. However recently it's started to not work most of the time. When it doesn't work it is 100% consistent with whatever disc it chokes on.

The disc I just tried was The Fifth Element (BD). I've also tried it for No Country For Old Men and 2001 this morning. Several others over the last week or so.

I have downloaded the latest beta copy (8.1.8.8), cleaned the discs, etc. but none if of made a difference.

I'm on Windows 7 with all the latest updates.

Processor: AMD A8-3850 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.90 Ghz
Installed Memory: 8.00 GB (7.73 GB usable)
    System Type: 64-bit OS

Let me know if I can provide any more helpful information.

    What happens is:

    1) I press "Start".
    2) Then it plays a noise very briefly which sounds like the opening note of the movies title screen.
    3) It immediately (concurrent to playing the noise, or within a fraction of a second) beeps and displays a pop-up window saying "Process failed!"
    4) The "info" tab states "Work 1 failed, Error = 500.01 2 mkv" and "Process failed!".

Here is the dvdfab internal log:

    0m 50.90s:

In case it helps, here are the logs from when the error occurs while using the xbox360mp4.hd profile. The primary difference between when I attempt mkv vs mp4 is that the mkv fails immediately and the mp4 works for an hour or so before quitting.

    Process Log:
    Conversion: one pass: 15:31:30
DXVA GPU acceleration for video decoding enabled
    : 15:31:30
    Source( 00001.m2ts )
    : 15:31:35
    Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(506.03), type(1), id(24), get std_exception(bad allocation)
    error: filter name(503.13), type(256), id(13), get std_exception(bad allocation)

    And from the internal log:

      Hi CinemaJunky,
The disc you used has PCM audio track, which do not support mkv.remux. Please try other audio tracks.
For converting to xbox360.mp4.hd, please turn DXVA acceleration and select "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" in Common Settings->General->A/V Codec page.
      Wish it helps.
