DVD Ripper Convert DTS to Dolby Digital AC3

I have several MKV movies that I'd like to use DVDFab 8.1.98 to remux, converting the DTS track to AC3.

Can this be done? How?

I don't want to re-encode the video. I need to preserve the video as it is and just work on the audio track. It's preferable to convert DTS to AC3 5.1 at 640 kbps. My concern is with the quality of the video/audio not the size of the file.

No can do with Fab without re-encoding the video stream but there is a way around it.

Keep the original file.
Convert the original file to a file with the audio that you want
Open the original file with MKVMerge
Turn off the Audio track
Add the new file into MKVMerge
Turn off the Video track
MUX IT!!!
