An issue I have found with older movies, is sometimes the type of sound files it contains can bog down the rip. I have 2 movies, Convoy, and The Radical, that won't rip. Coincidentally, both sound files say unknown file type on the main screen. These are also the only 2 movies that I cannot rip in any format that I have tried.

I have ripped 2 other movies using the standard MP4 format, including the one I posted the logs on. There were no problems. I tried going back to the Apple TV profile, and the disks hung again. I have not used the profile editor to change any profiles, nor have I modified the profile in any way. The only thing I have done, is change the name of the movie and file name to something more user friendly, and choose a double pass. (Single wasn't working either.) It looks like I have a problem with a profile. I will post again if I have any further trouble.Comment
