BD Ripper (3D Plus) Remux into file not working in mkv.remux profile

Attempting to remux forced subtitles into file using the mkv.remux profile

I've tested with various full BD rips to HDD and all fail with the same error:

Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name (509.01), type(128), id(14), get module_error(509.00 0 94214)
Process failed!

(Using only software decoding/encoding)

Confirmed this is still a problem in v8.0.2.3 QT

The profile "mkv.remux" does not support remux subtitle into file. We will fix it asap.

Is there an update on this? It is a pain having to run mkvmerge after each rip.
