BD Ripper (3D Plus) DVDFab suddenly stopped working

I'm running DVDfab on a Samsung Series 9 laptop with USB attached BluRay drive. For a while this worked very well (ripped something like 100+ disks without a problem) but at the weekend it stopped working. The symptoms are as follows...
    1. Place disk in drive, DVDfab reads the disk and shows the content
    2. Select the title to rip and start processing
    3. Nothing happens, the messages about enabling GPU process doesn't appear and the rip never starts, though there are no error messages.

    Additional information

It's not a problem with the BluRay drive itself since I can use the BluRay Copy function without a problem. I've also tried disabling the GPU acceleration (Intel QuickSync) and the process still hangs. Here's the log output:

How about the profile "mkv.remux"? please try it and feed back.

        MKV-remux

There was no problem with MKV.remux. My mkv.default profile is the mkv.audiocopy profile. After trying the remux profile, I went back to the default profile on the same disc and am back to seeing nothing, i.e, the system claims that it is starting, but doesn't do anything and doesn't initialize teh Intel.Quicksync GPU support, but gives no erros, just sits there doing nothing.

I solved my problem by uninstalling and reinstalling DVDFAB. It was doing the same thing you have described. The problem seems to have started after a Windows Update; although I cannot prove that was the cause. Nothing I did short of uninstalling solved my problem. Hope this works for you.

Update: When I reinstalled DVDFAB I did not have to re enter my license. It was an easy task once uninstalled to download and reinstall.

As a side comment, I also lost Google chat around the same time. I suspect whatever took down DVDFAB messed up more than one program. Uninstalling chat, and reinstalling fixed that problem too.

              I'll give that a try

Travelling at the moment, I'll give that a try when I get home

                That fixed it

I've removed and reinstalled (with the latest version) and that seems to have fixed the problem
