DVD Ripper DVD ripper wont convert all of DVD into MP

I have copied several DVDs to my hard disk using DVD copy (paid version).

These copies play fine on my PC.

I now want to convert the hard disk copies to MP4, and had succeeded with a generic MP4. profile.

However, recently it seems that DVD Ripper stops the conversion before the DVD file is finished, essentially hanging and only creating a small MP4 file that seems to correspond to 1 or 2 DVD chapters?

Any explanations? For some reason would DVD Ripper not be choosing all the DVD video sub files?
