Hello, I would like to report 2 issues in 1 post.
Please consider I live in Italy (Europe) so all my DVDs are PAL.
1) DVDFab always fails to rip DVDs with Mono audio track using AAC encoding.
I have tried different solutions, like ripping in Mono or forcing Dolby ProLogic II, Stereo and so on, but DVDFab always stops to work: no error message is given, just the progress percentage stops, and I have to cancel the process manually.
My enconding is set to software, so no CUDA acceleration.
Could any developer look into this matter?
2) Let's say I have a DVD with a video track (the main movie) with multiple audio tracks: English 5.1, Italian 1.0 (Mono), French 1.0 (Mono).
I choose generic.mp4.h264.aac output profile, but in the Conversion Settings window on the Audio Format I always get ONLY Mono option, even if I select English 5.1 audio track.
For choosing a 5.1 encoding (or Dolby ProLogic II, or Stereo) I have to force it, selecting a profile like iPad.mp4.multichannel.
So, it seems that when there are audio tracks in different formats (5.1, Mono, Stereo) it gives problems with generic.mp4.h264.aac output profile.
Again, could some developer look into this matter?
Thank you very much.
