BD Ripper (3D Plus) PS3 and IPad

Please forgive if this has been answered yet the knowledge on this forum is vast.
I am looking for a common format that works on BD ripper that will be playable by both the PS3 and IPad.
Have tried the MP4.H264.AAC. I know this format is common between the two, at least I think, yet it plays fine in PS3 but jerky on the Ipad.
    Any suggestions.
    THanks in advance =)
    Cheers

Files made with the iPad h.264 profile will play nicely on both, you don't even need to change the .m4v file extension for the PS3. That works for the DVD ripper, give it a try with BD ripper?

Guess it doesnt matter which h.264 profile? Few to choose from. Also should it matter if I lower the video resolution a bit to save space?
      Thanks in advance

          Solution

Selecting High Definition Audio in the source was the problem.

Copy that. I checked Remove HD Audio and it worked just fine =)
