I'm converting my first disk 'Home Alone' and I'm using the generic.avi.xvid.audiocopy with everything set for 'same as original' However, the aspect ratio seems to produce a black bar on the far right when I view it on the sample screen.
If I change it to 720x400 as some people here recommended, then it goes away.
First question: is there an option that I'm not seeing for copying the video at the same aspect ratio as the source?
Second: if I just convert every movie I have to 720x400 then would I experience any visual problems or will the movies all look good. This setting doesn't seem to crop anything form the original, so I'm hoping to use it universally.
