This has happened previously whenever I tried to do a Bluray to DVD.
Today, I am trying to rip a DVD. First, I updated to the latest 9.x version. I unistalled DVDFAB 8 QT first. I was ripping with the iPad 3 profile.
The first attempt failed immediately with a CUDA error. I went in and set the ripper to "Software only".
The second attempt started fine. I walked away from my computer. Came back and my computer was off. I had set the flag to "when finished do nothing". There was a 636K file, but it was unplayable.
I started again. It ran for about 10 minutes and then shut down the PC again.
Here is my dvdfab_internal_log:
My best guess is to COMPLETELY uninstall again, reboot and reinstall. BUT I don't know how to get rid of absolutely everything on Windows 8 Pro.
Is there any other logs and config files that I should post? This is an ongoing issue, but I have not been able to get past it this time.
Thanks.
Brian
