BD Ripper (3D Plus) Unable to open

I have a new Blu-Ray, Damage. When I try to open with BD Ripper it I get an unable to open message. It is brand new and I tried cleaning it. I don't see any scratches or anything else on the disc itself. I just finished ripping other BVlu-Rays so I know the drive and everything else is fine.

    Here's the DVDfab logs:

I upgraded 8.2.2.6 and still getting the same thing. I tried the Blu-Ray in my neighnor's Blu-Ray player and it worked fine. It is possible the dencryption key coming from DVD fab is incorrect ? I've ripped 100's of Blu-Rays with my Blu-Ray drive in my PC and have never had an issue. I just ripepd some mroe this morning.

The fact it plays in a set top player is meaningless. Try turning off all GPU activity in common settings and uncheck lighting recoding while you're at it and give it a try.

I tested it on a set top player just to be sure the disc wasn't damaged. I checked all GPU setting and only lightening recording was enabled. I disabled it and got the same result.

I got this exact same error when trying to rip Modern Family Season 2 discs (same error with all three discs), with both 8.2.2.6 and 9.0.1.6. However, I was able to open them (and then rip tracks) just fine with 8.1.7.8.

Thanks for the tips. 8.1.7.8 was able to open and rip it. 8.0.8.5 said I needed to upgrade to a newer version. 8.1.7.8 was my old stand-by for a long time. This is the first time I've had to go back to it in months.
