DVD Ripper No sound ripping to MP4

I am still seeing an issue when ripping to MP4. Over the past 6 months there continues to be no sound after completing a rip from DVD to MP4. I know this was supposed to be resolved but has not in either 8 or 9.

What are you playing the file on? You are using mp3 audio and not everything will play it. Quicktime, iTunes or WMP won't without additional codecs.

I have tried to play it on WMP, XBOX,Surface, and my Sony TV. What codec do I need?

I am playing this in WMP, Surface, and XBOX. None of them produce sound. Any idea on what codec I need? I did test it on my Sony TV and it did play there, but looked like crap.

I think you need an mp4.aac file that will play on everything, but v9 has a problem with aac being in the wrong format. Download 8.2.2.6 and try generic mp4.aac for a test run.

The mp4.aac profile has been fixed in 9.0.1.8!
