Black screen DVD to mp4

Hi there, I just downloaded the new 9.0.1.8 beta, because of the audio issues in 9.0.1.6, and when I went to DVD ripper, set up my conversion from DVD to MP4, It took about 1.5 minutes to rip a 2 hour movie, and I got nothing but a black screen.

Any help?
