    A Few Questions

I seen DVDFab at a friends place and am thinking of purchasing for myself. A couple questions if I may, my friend just backs up his DVDs but I would like to back up my 3D Blurays, will DVDFab rip a scope movie, I had him go into the video effect settings but the sample picture looked wrong when we created 2:4 aspect and I have a 174" scope screen. Also I asked him to try ripping a 3d Bluray to mkv as this is the way I would have to do it and my Popcorn C200 will only play 3D this way, so I have read. His rip was 3GB while the 3D documentary was 23G, is this a compression that converting to mkv will do or is there a way to have the same quality? Changing the video frame size from half to full doubled the size of the rip but it was still 1/3rd the original, what does this option mean full or half video frame size? Also, what does the option "Fixed bitrate" do under Video Format h264 as we tried Audio copy 3d? Just want to know if this will do what I need.

    Thanks, John

3D ripper will rip the main moive as default, which is a part of the whole disc. You can insert the disc in copy main movie to see the size of main movie.
You can use the profile "mkv.h264.audiocopy.3d".
"Fixed bitrate" means the bit rate of the video.

Thanks terry5, any idea about the scope ratio, is it doable and what of full frame to half frame what does changing it do, the bitrate is adjustable any advantage to upping it, it defaults at just over 7,000. I cannot find detailed instructions anywhere.

What do you means the scope ratio?
The full frame will out put 3840*1080 and the half will be 1920*1080. But in my opinion, there is no big difference between them.
You can change the Fixed bitrate in Conversion settings page to upping the bitrate.

Scope aspect ratio, not 1:33 (4x3) or 1:77 (16x9) but 2:35 for most bluray movies. Any advantages to upping the bit rate?

          Thanks for your time

You can go to the Video Effect page to add customized size or select one from the Aspect ratio list to change the aspect ratio.
Go to Advanced settings page, change "Video Quality" to customized and then you can change the Bit Rate.
            Wish it helps.
