DVD Ripper DVD Ripper Freezes at 20%

I have tried DVD8 and the new DVD9. I have also made the recommended changes to the A/V Codec as seen in other posts. I have tried multiple DVDs and after it reaches around 20%, the rip freezes and the fps begin to drop rapidly. After that, nothing happens. I had to cancel the job to try and move on. I am getting very frustrated as I am just now getting back to converting my DVD collection. Please help!!

CBR929, Thank you for your reply. I have tried several different versions, including the 2 you suggested. I have even tried several different DVDs and I still a, having the same problems. No matter what version I am using or what DVD, When it gets to about 20% completed, the entire process freezes.

I had this problem in the past and, I hate to say, the only way I could get it fixed was to reload Windows. I assume it was because of the many different versions I had upgraded over the years. Once I loaded it up, I installed one version back from the newest and it worked like a charm. I later upgraded to the newest version and it continues to work.
