Other Ripper not working at all

When I try to use either the dvd ripper or blu-ray ripper, the program usually goes to the rip screen and stays there for a bit then gives me an error 504:00 1 1. Sometimes it will just stay there and no error, I have to cancel out.

I have tried both my nvidia gtx 675m and the internal intel hd 4000 graphics with CUDA or quick sync enabled and disabled. I can't get it to work either way...

Can anyone give any advice as to what I may be doing wrong?

My laptop is Alienware M18x R2 with Intel Core i7 3720QM and 16GB ram.

    Thank you.

Try re downloading the program but do a clean with cccleaner a free program to clean your drive and registry.Do a search for it on the net if you don't have it.

And make sure you are not attempting to passthrough a PCM audio stream.

            Bluray ripper not working

I am having the same problem. Bluray ripper does not rip.

When I try to use either blu-ray ripper, the program will just stay there and no error, I have to cancel out. The 'time to finish' stays at 0:00 as well as progress at 0%. I have tried uninstalling and used ccleaner and re-installed. This did not help.

Fixed it. A/V Codec for H.264 was set to "Intel Quick Sync" Changed to Cuda and all working perfectly. Thanks for the help.

                    Similar problem

I was able to rip DVD’s yesterday then all of the sudden it quit working. I have tried multiple DVD’s all with the same results. When I click start I get to about 2% and then nothing happens. I have uninstalled V8 and installed v9. I have tried the cccleaner and updated the firmware on my DVD drive. I have a purchased version but did notice about the time I started having problems a message popped up stating that my trial period was over even though I have registered the program. When I look at the license status it shows expiring February 15, 2015.

Yuo will need to supply the details to the program so it can register.

I had the same problem on both fab 8 and 9. BDCopy with no compression was the only thing that worked converting any kind of Blue Ray. DVD COPY and DVD RIPPER worked fine. Just sat there when ripping any Blue Ray. This was my first time to use DVDFab Blue Ray options to convert my library. Saw your fix and it worked perfect for me also. Thanks for posting it.
