BD Ripper (3D Plus) Alex Cross

I copy the main movie(Alex Cross) to hdd, iso, played it with vlc and everything was ok!, but everytime I use BD ripper to MKV 264 autocopy! I get the audio ahead of the video!

I'ved used both v9 & v8, both new releases, and older v9 & v8 and still audio is ahead of video!

This is the first Blu-ray I ever had a problem with!, that I couldn't fix! All my movies are MKV 264 Autocopy!

Then I put them on my media player(AIOS)

      Alex Cross - Audio/Video Lag

Has anyone tried ripping Alex Cross on Blu-Ray?

      http://www.amazon.com/Alex-Cross-Blu...rds=alex+cross

I am having constant issues with just this movie. It rips fine but the audio and video lags throughout the whole movie. I am ripping to MKV with passthrough video+audio w/DTS HD Master audio track. There is roughly 30 titles for this movie after DVDFab analyzes it, varying in length from 1hr 39mins to 1hr 42mins if I remember correctly. The official runtime (on IMDB) is 1hr 41mins. First I just used the default track DVDFab selected as its ALWAYS been correct in the past but this time no luck. I have tried 6 other tracks so far and every one seems to lag the same.

Has anybody successfully gotten Alex Cross to rip with proper audio sync and if so which title was it?

As far as troubleshooting goes, I tried ripping the entire bluray to my drive and then ripping and also turned off all hardware decoding. As I said I have successfully done many movies, this is the first one giving me issues.
      Thanks!

I should specify I am currently using version 8.2.2.7 and tried with the previous version number first.

Looks like I am having the same exact issue as you - I made a post about it as well, not thinking our issue was the same (you said MKV 264 Autocopy) but perhaps you are doing the same as me - I use MKV with audio+video pass through and am getting audio lag. I'm using 8.2.2.7 myself. Did you find a solution yet?

I made a successful copy of the blurry however when I put it into my bd player or ps3 I get the following msg. Copy detected (or a rip tool is running if you are trying to watch this movie on your pc). Please visit https://e1.continuemovie.com for more information.

I don't know if this is relevant to this discussion but I'm watching "Alec Cross" after having ripped it with 9.0.2.5 using avi.h264.ac3 and I'm finding that scenes are not showing in the proper order.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Is it just us few having trouble with ALEX CROSS?

Has anybody else been having this problems?

The reason for a forum is to help each other out!

Has Fab looked into this, is it on the list for updated? Or fixed!

Everyone is saying this is the only Blu-ray there having problems with!

It looks like this movie is being over looked just like "Prometheus" was when it came out! I had to use a competitors software for " Prometheus"!

Will I have to do that again?

I used several different V9 & V8, but all of them does the same thing! The Audio is out of sync!, and in my case, the Audio is ahead of the vedio!

Has Alex Cross been checked into yet?

Or, am I the only one having problems with this movie? BD-Ripper, MKV h264 autocopy! Audio out of sync!

                            CBR929,

No I haven't! I'll give that a try!, but this PC was my first build back at Dec.2011 and it settled in and hadn't had a problem with any movie since! Now Prometheus was one that never worked, but Alex Cross is the 2nd one!

Pretty good track record, I'm so use to having not to ever change settings, I really never taught about it! I'm so use to BD-Ripper putting everything in order when Blu-ray copy has m2t's all out of order, I never even check!

If you know what I mean! I just forgot about the other settings, tell you the truth!

                              Hi 8855A
You have nothing to loose by trying.
The Fab team is celebrating their New Year and I'm sure they will look into this when they return.
                              Have a good weekend!!!
