BD Ripper (3D Plus) Ripping "hangs"

I have a BD copied to a hard drive and am trying to rip it to Apple TV 3 format...

The process begins normally, reaches 18.16% completion and then just stops. No error message ever appears (even after letting it run overnight), no logs are generated and clicking cancel does nothing and I am left to just X out of the program.

The issue appears to be movie specific although the .m2ts file plays perfectly using VLC.

I have tried re installing dvdfab 9.0.2.6, using software only en/de-coding (usually works best for me) and also tried "shrinking" the BD via COPY to BD 25 and converting the .m2ts file alone all with the same result at 18.16% completion.

Attachment #1 shows the log file path as empty. There are no hidden files in that folder either.

I also tried opening the log folder from within dvdfab and nothing happens when I choose this. *attachment #2*

Where else could the log file be?

I will try generating a successful log file from another movie file...

I get the same symptoms when trying to "copy" it from BD50 to BD25 on the HDD...it makes it to 18.59% before "hanging". Here is the log:

Hi spyrapper
For your converting please try one of the Ipad profiles.
For compressing from BD50 to BD25, please try using the original disc, also try turning off Lightning-Recoding and make sure that your settings are all set to software.
