DVD Ripper Ripper slow/fast conversion times

Converted ARGO on desktop puter and laptop generic Mp4- got the following logs. Desktop took 2.8 hrs to convert - laptop took 40 min to convert. Same DVD disk same DVDFab set up. Sort of confused - why the 2.8 hrs vs 40 min? doing something wrong? Help to understand. Thanks.

Ripping times

I've seen similar results. My desktop computer has a AMD 7000 series GPU, my laptop has Intel's integrated 4000 series graphics. The big difference is that the AMD GPU only supports hardware decoding of video and has to use the CPU for the h264 encoding process. On the laptop, the 4000 series graphics supports both encoding and decoding in hardware and it makes a huge difference. My desktop gets around 30fps when ripping a BluRay to and H264 encoded MKV, the laptop gets around 80fps and I've seen it go as high as 100+fps.
