The h264.audiocopy compresses the video portion of the disk but leaves the audio untouched, mkv.remux leaves video and audio untouched, it just puts them in a MKV container.
Side by side 3d makes a data file out of a 3d movie. You can make them using a 25 gig blu ray disk or compress them to db9 or db5 they are not blu rays once you turn a 3d movie into a side by side data file.
The 3d effects carry over from a 3d disk so it still looks good and they can be made 1080p in one eye with the other eye less resolution some call it half hi def. but your tv puts the two images together and your mind gets fooled into seeing full hi def. But it's really not.
If you compared the 25 gig side by side and 25 gig full 3d and show this to 25 people not telling them which is which one 1 out of 25 will be able to tell the difference and he may be a video expert.
The other advantage is most regular dvd players will play db9 and db5 3d data files so you don't need a 3d video player and i think all regular blu ray players will play a 3d data file on a blu ray or db9 or db5.you just need a 3d tv to put the two images together. The sound can also remain the same hd dts or hd dolby up to 7.1 channels.
You can also take a full 3d movie and compress it to 25 gig full 3d meaning 1080p in each eye and the same sound if that's what you want or copy the full 3d movie to 50 gig disks and make a exact copy.
Thanks for that information.
It a concise and non technical explanation. I wanted to know what SBS was but had no need to do the research at this time with no 3D TV
mkv.remux with untouched video and audio. But it outputs 2D mkv file no matter 3D or 2D source you inserted.
3d.mkv.h264.audiocopy will convert the video in SBS(Side by Side) type with untouched audio. If you insert 3D source, Fab will use Blu-ray Ripper (3D Plus) option. If you insert 2D source, Fab will use Blu-ray Ripper(3D Plus) and 2D to 3D Options.
Both mkv.remux and mkv.h264.audiocopy will provide a wonderfull audio-visual enjoyment.
