Sound Out of Sync

I have out-of sync issues (and some stuttering video) as well but they are present only on some titles/discs, others works perfect. Anyway i think that v9 needs a good debug.... especially on the DVD ripper funtions.

I have audio sync issues as well - BDs of Walking Dead Season 2 and Toy Story 3 (log below)

Seems the audio starts off close to in sync but gets worse and is really lagging (> 1 sec) by the end.

This really needs fixing as makes the product unusable.

TS3 also suffers subtitle problem highlighted here

Please go into Fab settings and set everything to software, see pic
You can also try the latest version of 8 found here
If that does not work there is always old reliable version 8085 here

I've tried versions 9.0.4.6, 8.2.2.9 and old reliable 8.0.8.5 and still have the out of sync problem with several of the aforementioned special feature tracks on The Searchers Blu-ray when ripping to mkv.

I have found that after decrypting these same tracks I can use other software and rip those tracks to mkv and they are in full sync.

I have the same issues with the latest versions of DVDFAB9.
But for me all audio tracks of anything I rip is out of sync. I am using the remove HD audio option.

audio sync issues

I am having the same problem. Any DVD I rip with 9.0.4.6 has audio/sync issues. The audio is a few seconds behind the video. I've tried using software, rather than CUDA, I've tried various settings such as turning HD audio off, leaving it on, different fps settings, everything I can think of. I've had problems in the past and found that leaving the profile at it's default settings sometimes worked, but not this time. I've tried all the ipad profiles, which is what I usually use, I've tried H264, which I want to use, MPEG4 - all with no luck. The only rip I've succeeded with is to rip the DVD to the hard drive using vob. This is in sync, but as soon as I convert it to H264 using DVDFab, the sync problems reappear. It's driving me to distraction....

Still having the same problem with ripping the Blu-ray, The Searchers with both DVDFab 9.0.4.6 and 9.0.4.7. I ran each of the different mkv profiles with GPU Codecs on and then off. It made no difference. As before, the progress bar only gets to 80% and then DVDFab declares the process as finished. As before, it's only some of the special feature tracks on the disc that have this problem. Here's the last log using 9.0.4.7:

This is no help Senor Bag and I know that, but there are movies (DVD movies) that just will not be synced by DVDFab. I have "Midway" and Fab never has been able to get the A/V sync. I try it every so often and just did, it's a no go.

Thanks for the follow up. The A/V sync problem here is specific to a flaw in the DVDFab ripper. These same "problem" files have been copied and synced perfectly by DVDFab. And these same files after being decrypted by DVDFab can be ripped to mkv using other software in perfect A/V sync.

In consideration of all the other A/V sync problems that have been reported concerning the ripper, I feel confident that the DVDFab team is working on a solution.

I've been a DVDFab user for many years and I realize that glitches of this sort are bound to happen in a state of the art program such as DVDFab.

I'm just reporting my findings and perhaps in some small way my reports will help the programmers to discover and correct the flaws. I also realize that some of these problems can take some time to correct and that it may take many more BETA and final releases before the problems are solved.

I think it is incumbent upon me to follow the problem I have reported until a solution is found other than using a workaround.

I had a problem a few years ago with a Disney Zorro DVD. It took awhile for the DVDFab team to find the problem, but after the progression of several new versions, they finally found the solution.

It's always been my experience that once the DVDFab team is aware of a problem, they are very responsive in making adjustments to correct and update the program.
