Best Settings for 2nd Gen Ipod Touch

I was just wondering what are the best settings to use when converting from DVD to Mobile for Ipod Touch. Like what resolution, video bitrate, audio bitrate, which format is best, etc. Like which would be the best optimized settings for the 2nd Gen Ipod Touch. I want to convert some DVDs instead of re-buying them on Itunes.

Use the iPhone/iPod selection. I use the iPod Touch profile at the default settings, that's good enough for me. You can click the edit button and use 2 passes or turn up the bit rate, just experiment a little and see what you like the best.
