BD Ripper (3D Plus) Why can't we keep subtitles as .sup?

Many devices (popcorn hours, etc) do not support high resolution subtitle in .sub/idx format, and must use .srt subtitles.

Is there anyway to get it to extract and remux .srt subtitles instead? Or any easy way to get the subtitles compatible with popcorn hours? Thanks.
