Good day,
I recently decided to upgrade my ripping solution so I can now start ripping my Blue Ray titles. I found DVDFab's Blue Ray Ripper. It seems like it will be a good solution but I am having a little bit of a hard time learning how to use it and the documentation is pretty thin.
The primary issue is that once I have completed ripping a file (Across The Universe) using the AppleTV 3 preset I can preview it from within Finder or play it within the Quick Time Player. I am able to import it into iTunes. When I click play it does not proceed. I can fast forward and see the frames (although garbled) proceeding. So iTunes is recognizing the file but something isn't right about it. When I play it in Quicktime the file quality is amazing so it seems like it is almost getting me where I want to be.
The first time I tried to rip the file I didn't use the Apple TV preset but just used the MP4 file type and it worked fine. I am going to try that again but would really like some guidance.
Suggestions?
Thanks, Steve
