Yesterday I upgraded DVDFab 8.2.2.8 to 8.2.2.9 and out of the blue my subs are yellow instead of white. I use idx/sub files. any ideas how to revert this to white subs? I hate yellow!

What profile are you using? I have made mp4 and mkv files with 8.2.2.9 exporting the subs and can't reproduce your issue. They are always white. How to post the internal log

I encountered the yellow subtitles too. I was ripping a movie with 8.2.2.9 to my new Nook HD+ and was using an mp4 custom profile. I accidentally forgot to turn off the subtitles and the resulting rip had bright yellow subtitles.
I redid the rip with subtitles turned off and everything worked fine.

I always use thus one. All I do is raise the bitrate.
Extract subtitles to idx/subs
V8.2.2.8 had no problems. 8.2.2.9 has yellow subs

I just tried the Samsung profile, no option to export the subs, even so they are still white directly rendered. How to post the internal log

While the profiles might be to blame, I suspect that the main ripper program is the root of the problem(s).
Also, unlike the OP, I really don't object to the yellow subtitles. But I do find it strange that DVDFab is giving such unexpected results.Last edited by Senor Bag; 06-25-2013, 12:59 AM.
