DVD Ripper Sound sync problems

I'm starting this thread because I don't want to hijack someone else's thread for the same problem.

I have ripped a lot of dvds and blu-rays with Version 9.0.6.0 and they all have the same sound sync problem. I've tried both mp4 and mkv.h264.ac3 profiles and neither of them rip correctly. Here is the log of the last few attempts

I saw a suggestion in another thread to copy the fines from the DVD to the c: drive then rip that. I tried that -- doesn't work most likely because of this line:

Will you please tell me how to do that? I looked at the options and didn't see how to do it.

If I check "Disable all GPU codes for decoding and encoding" I get the error "Process Failed!"

You will need to post the internal log with settings set to software.

I uninstalled DVDFab 9 and reinstalled it. Disabling all that you suggested does not fix the problem -- it creates a file of only 4K.

I just finished using Copy to create an \*.iso file, DVDFab Media Player plays it ok with no voice sync problems.

I ran 2 tests and I have no audio sync problems, sorry
The only thing different I see in your logs compared to mine is the framerate
Yours fps(30000/1001)
Mine fps(24000/1001)
Try going into the advanced settings next to the profile, on the main screen,make sure that it is set to same as source, or even try 29.97

One way to solve the sound sync problem is to first use Copy to create a *.iso file then rip that. That works for the one movie I tested -- Wild Hogs. Would still like to know why ripping directly from the DVD causes sync problems.

It is always recommended to copy to Hdd first then use that for your conversions.
This saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.
I also like to do my conversions from separate HDDs, my copy is on one drive, the conversion goes to another, this way it is not read and writing to the same drive during the conversion.

Humm -- a dvd can be ripped directly from the dvd in about 10-15 minutes. DVD Copy takes about 20 minutes to create the iso file, then ripping from tha iso file takes another 10 minutes. And my computer is AMD 8-core processor running Windows 7. I've checked Task Manager and see that DVDFab Ripper is using all 8 cores.
