I recently upgraded to v 9 and the DVD copy seems to work fine. But the DVD Ripper crashes my PC each time. V-6 and 7 always worked fine for me. I'm running XP on a pretty fast HP computer. It looks like the rip begins, then after about 12 seconds, the elapsed time just stops. I then cannot move my mouse and the keyboard is unresponsive. the entire PC freezes up. The first few times, I thought maybe it was the dvd or some other cause. But any dvd does it. Running the ripper simply crashes my PC. I checked the log, and there's nothing there. Mostly because I have to shut down the computer by holding down the power button, so there is no time for the log to register anything. Any suggestions? Thank you !
