Hi - I downloaded DVD Ripper on my new iMac as want to extract the music from some music DVDs I have. I used a trial version for 2 days and the first couple of DVDs worked well. With the third one, the program effectively stopped after about 3% of the DVD was ripped. Tried a couple of times, rebooting the iMac as well, just in case. Decided it may be a limitation of the trial version so purchased it. Same thing is happening - have tried a couple of different DVDs to eliminate a problem on one of them.
DVDs copy (and play) just fine, so disk isn't damaged. Tried copying one to my HDD and ripping from there - also stopped at 3%.
Basically what happens in all cases is the rip starts, winds up to between 70 and 100fps (depending on source medium) and at about 3%, winds down to 0, the fps monitor goes and I just see Task Time elapsed increase and Task Time Left goes to 0. Basically it just sits there.
I've tried a couple of different encoding options, too, just in case...
Please can you throw some light on how to fix this problem. The recent part of the log file is pasted below.
