BD Ripper (3D Plus) 3D ripper activated in V9 but won't work in V8??

Hey guys,
Quick question. I've purchased most of the blu ray related software bundles through fab for a while now. I use V9 blu ray 3d ripper but struggled with a few titles. I was able to properly rip them in v8 but I ended up using the trial version with the dreaded watermark

I tried using my activation key from a while back but I can't get it to work? So if I have full access to this in v9 why won't v8 work?

1.Please log in the Member Center http://www.dvdfab.com/member.htm?a=login;
2.Click "Download key" button to download the key file in the lower-right corner of the page
3.Double-click the downloaded file.
4.Try it again

Tried that and it says registration successful but it does not change my v8 blu ray ripper from trial to "never expires"? It seems as if it's just registering my v9 software(both installed on my pc obviously).

I doubled checked under the member center and I did purchase this portion of the software.

I emailed DVD Fab and they have it fixed for me!
