BD Ripper (3D Plus) Last Vegas

I ripped Last Vegas BD to MKV and at 20 minutes Cinavia kicked in with message and no sound. Previous to this no problems. My Blu-ray player is a Samsung [HTS]E5400.

Your player is infected by Cinavia it's mostly on Sony disks. You can have a mkv but not burn it to disk leave it on a computer drive then play with a uninfected software player like fab media player or VLC media player.

Or if your infected player has a usb input put the mkv it on a stick drive and play it through it or from a computer drive to it.
or buy a uninfected used or refurbished player like the Panasonic dmp-bd75
on Amazon.Or buy a hardware media player and play all your movies from a usb or connected hard drive.

      Hi Glenn,
I forgot to say that I was playing it from my C: drive using Samsung AllShare streaming via WiFi. I've known for a year that my Blu-ray player is infected and MKV streaming has worked well in the past. I apologize for not including that information. Next time I'll try the 9.X DVDFab rip to see if that works.

I am wondering if the Cinavia code has been changed to defeat the MKV work around. Also, the last time I checked, the DVDFab player wouldn't stream over Wifi.

      Thanks!

I tried MKV with my Samsung BD-F7500 and after 25 minutes no sound. My other streamers (non-Blu-Ray pllayers) work fine. As for streaming over Wi-Fi you need wireless devices designed form high speed 1090P streaming and use the 5Gig band, not 2.4G. The best streaming Wi-Fi devcie I have is the Netgear WNCE-4004. It is the only device I haev found which allows me to stream full bitrate (up to 40Mb/s) 1080P rips.

DVDFab does not remove cinavia when ripper to file. It should be muted when play on PS3 or other Cinavia player.
