DVD Ripper Can't Rip DVD, drops to 0fps and stops

I have been trying to rip some dvds with the latest version and have found that the progress starts well then gets to a point and drops to 0fps, then stops completely.

I have gone back to version 8.0.8.5 and it works, but begs the question why does it not work on the latest version.

I have include the log files for a rip from scratch and I am hoping you can assist me. I have tried this on different computers, it works once or twice and then this start. Very frustrating.

I am still having trouble with this, it works ok with 8.0.8.5, I have been looking through the forum and have run cclearner to check the pc after uninstalling the program.

I tried rip some DVDs to mp4 and not get the freeze issue.
Did you install the antivirus software "Bitdefender"?

I have downloaded the beta version and it is working, this is very good news, I am still having some trouble when it comes to the audio. I am trying to rip the dvd to a mp4 file and have tried the (default setting as the same as the source) and the (ac3) and the AAC audio is the one that works on windows media player.

yes I did install Bitdefender on the machines.

Bitdefender and DVDFab are not compatible, be sure to add fab to the exception list.

I have just downloaded the latest version and still working but have today experienced 2 blue screens of death. Not had this before

Any ideas ?
