BD Ripper (3D Plus) 9.1.3.6 File Size Increase

I've been ripping my Blu Ray collection for some time and it seems that with the latest release of DVDFab that the file sizes have greatly increased. I think this has to do with the way it is ripping with the black banding bars.

I'm using the iPad Air profile. Previous to this version I usually used two sizes and ripped each disk twice. 1920x???? for 1080p and 1280x???? for 720p. The second number often varied from disk to disk.

With the new version it is always 1920x1080 and 1280x720. I think this is accounting for the increase in size. Did something in the software change or am I doing something wrong?

Have you tried turning of the auto crop feature in Fab, do you get the same results?

I don't recall ever having to change anything with auto crop. Where would I find that?

I have tried the same disc ,same chapter, same resolution, both crop to Ipad air,
The file size is same.
It may be caused by crop. Select the title, edit will not gray , Edit -> crop.
