The rip starts on scene 2 skipping the films intro etc.... I've not gone through the whole rip, so I cannot tell if anything else is missing....

I've got the same problem with R2 DVD of The Butler.

If I copy 'Main Movie' it will start playing at chapter 2. I haven't watched any further so I don't know what else is in the wrong place.

If I copy 'Full Disc' then after selecting to 'Play Movie' from the DVD menu it will just freeze before the picture even appears.

I've just tried again with the latest beta v9.1.3.7 but had the same result.

Sounds like you ripped a bogus title. Play the disc and check the title then be sure you rip that one. You can preview it before you start ripped.

Make sure the pathplayer was enable when you open a DVD

I have checked and Pathplayer is enabled.

If I play back the DVD disc itself then the movie is title 48 which has 13 chapters. However, in DVDFab it selects title 32 (also 13 chapters). The trouble is that title 48 is not listed by DVDFab so I cannot even overide the default title and select the correct one.

                hi there,
have just tried to copy this dvd (full disk) using 9.1.3.9. plays the front trailers and gets to the main title, press play and locks up.
so tried 8.3.4.0 and copied disk ok and played right through ok.
chalk another one up for the old timer.
                regards all
