DVD Ripper Direct render of forced captions is distorted

I'm trying to rip from DVD to MP4 (I've also tried WMV with identical results) and the captions / subtitles, when rendered to video come out blocky, green, distorted. When I preview a video with captions it looks fine, but when I do the conversion during the rip they turn out as in the attached.

I've tried with 9.1.5.2 and 9.1.4.5 both had the same result.

Any suggestions?

In order to help you better and check where the problem is asap, would you please use DVD Copy > Main Movie mode to copy your movie onto hard drive and save as .iso file, then upload copied file using the FTP program to our FTP site? You just need to copy 2~3 chapters of the movie in order to save time, then please check if it can reproduce your problem, if yes, please send us the copied small file.
