hi folks .. can I get some info please. I ripped the desolation of smaug and it took 3 hours to rip it I know this is a little long to rip lol im posting the log .. any help is appreciated

Looks to me like you ripped from disk to AVI format with a 2 core machine.
I would put the disk on the hard drive first then do any converting should be faster and less wear and tear on the dvd drive.You may also check its firmware for updates depending on what brand of drive that is their may be updates for it.Should you update the firmware read all directions and follow them to the letter or you can render the dvd drive useless.
