Since I upgraded to 9.1.5.9 I haven't been able to rip any any dvd it gets to 50% and fails. The two Bluray's I tried were 300 rise of an empire and fast and furious Tokyo drift. I have down graded and am re running the rip to try again. I was able to make iso's of them though with no problem.

Are you trying to use 2 pass high quality? Others have reported problems switching from first to second pass and that would be 50%. I never use two pass, a waste of time in my opinion.

Yes sir I thought it was suppose to give better quality. I have down graded to 9.1.5.7 and no longer have the problem ripping the movies with 2 pass

I've never been able to justify the extra time and file size for the difference, but whatever suits you.

Same issue here. 50% and fails. Iso's appear OK.

I also am using two pass quality. I can get great results for my Tablet using two pass and setting the file size to 1G per 90 minutes. Well worth it IMO. CVR results in crappy quality or HUGE files. ..or maybe I'm just doing something wrong..lol

                    Hi,

We are checking the 2 pass issue. Please use 1 pass first.

If you are asking me it was the default MKV profile. I have an i7 3770k processor and I'm using Intel Quick Sync with 8 cores chewing on the file.

That would be eight threads, not eight cores ;-)

That's because DVDfab doesn't know the difference between threads and cores ;-)
