BD Ripper (3D Plus) Audio decode retry

Since 9.1.6.x up to the latest, I've been noticing a lot of audio decode retry errors when going through the logs.

The rip or transcode never flags as failed so I have to dig through the log to find this. Sometimes it appears harmless (no obvious audio hiccups) and sometimes it's bad - audio sync completely off.

    This never happens on 9.1.5.x.

I think there is something with the new processing that's causing this.

I've even tried using another program to make an uncompressed copy, then using Fab Convert and it still happens, so it's something with Fab's conversion process.

I'm transcoding the audio to DD 5.1, 640 kbps, ac3.

Examples of movies that do this: Saving Mr Banks and Lone Survivor. A sample log is attached.

This bug really needs to be fixed. Can you look into this?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the update. Not sure if the latest beta (7.2) has anything to try to address this. In case it does, I just wanted to say that I still see the issue - audio decode retry. The BD used this time was The Legend of Drunken Master.

It's not a damaged disc thing because it doesn't matter if I transcode from the disc (BD Ripper) or from a MKV (Fab Convert).

As with before, using an older version of Fab (9.1.5.0 is my backup copy) from before the new "speed up" stuff is without issue.

Latest version... 4 movies. All 4 had the audio decode retry error. Wasted an entire run last night.

I think I'm going to have to go back to 9.1.5.x. While 9.1.6.x is faster, I'm wasting way too much time having to re-rip everything on another computer.

Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help, this audio decode retry issue is terrible.

Is this still being worked? I'm still seeing the error with the latest .7 beta.

            Thanks.

Hi there, just thought I'd check in to see if this is still being worked since it's been a few months now. Would like to switch to the latest version of fab, but this problem was causing too many issues to warrant the switch. Thanks.
